The Belstone Fox

18HH Irish Sport Horse

The Belstone Fox is a very kind and intelligent stallion by  the Imported Stallion Coosheen Liam (Deceased) who has produced many good jumpers and performance horses both here in Australian and overseas. Fox offers you the chance to breed temperament and trainability into your future foal. He is an incredibly handsome stallion with an unbeatable personality and the athletic movement of a performance sports horse.  With a pedigree second to none it is no wonder he has passed this trainable temperament on to all of his progeny, as well as his elegance and strength.

At the 2013 Melbourne Summer Royal Fox claimed Supreme Champion Led Irish Draught or Sports Horses, Best Presented Irish Draught or Sports Horse, Best Performed Irish Draught or Sports Horses as well as being the second time winner of the Laughton’s Legend RID Memorial Award.

Ideal sire for those wanting to breed a performance sports horse for dressage, eventing or show hunter.

HIS HIGHNESS, hanoverian stallion, 2000-2007.

His Highness was the highest priced young stallion at the 2002 Hanoverian stallion grading in Germany selling for an amazing 515,000 Euros.

He won his 70 day stallion performance test in 2002 with ease and was champion at his stallion performance test in Prussendorf in 2003, receiving a total score of 149.24. His outstanding quality was rewarded with the dressage index of 155.04, the highest score in this class.

He was placed in both the 2005 and 2006 Bundeschampionate despite his high demand as breeding stallion. He started his dressage career dressage horse under the training of Klaus Balkenhol and at the Danish licensing in 2005, he was proclaimed champion of the five-year-old dressage stallions.

His untimely death in 2007 due to a fractured right hind hock was a huge blow for sport horse breeding.

From the Bloomfield fb page:

'It is with immense sadness that we bring the devastating news that Royal Hit has been put to sleep, after a freak accident in his stable which resulted in him breaking his leg yesterday.

Royal Hit was adored by so many and absolutely loved by us. His sweet, gentle character and charismatic presence was like no other and will be very sadly missed. From his early morning greeting when he heard our footsteps approaching the barn, to the excitement for breeding duties when he heard the rattle of the stallion bit, his personality was infectious and would never fail to bring a smile to your face.

For those of you who are lucky enough to own Royal Hit progeny, please cherish every moment you have with these beautiful horses, and don’t take even one day for granted that you have with them.

The impact Royal Hit has made in Australia, and will continue to make through his progeny, is far beyond what most people will ever realize. He was a Genetic Masterpiece with an unmatched Siring ability.

Above all, he was a beautiful horse, our King of the Barn, and we are absolutely heartbroken. We love you Royal Hit. Rest in Peace big fella, while we never stop in our quest to make you proud.

We would like to express our condolences to Royal Hit’s owner, Paul Schockemohle, and thank him for allowing us the opportunity to bring his beautiful stallion to Australia, where he has had such a positive influence on Australian Warmblood breeding and dressage.

We are eternally grateful for the time we shared with Royal Hit, forever in our hearts and memories.’
